Contrary to the image often portrayed, concern over the climate crisis is widespread through Australian society. The young have stepped out into the streets. Union members, First Nations peoples, scientists, doctors, lawyers, farmers are part of the movement. Older people are also making a stand, and growing numbers are joining Extinction Rebellion.
