The Australian Conservation Foundation has lifted its campaign to turn up the heat to put a stop to the giant Adani Carmichael coal mine. This comes of the heals of the successful #StopAdani roadshow that took the issues to thousands and saw hundreds of new local groups formed all over Australia. A petition has received more than a million signatures.
On May 55-19 week, actions will occur around the country. For further information go to this site.
This is what it looks like when you put piles of coal next to a pristine wetland. Spread the word and join us to #StopAdani for a national week of action 15-19th May. We're turning up the heat on our elected representatives until their parties rule out public funding for Adani’s disastrous mine. www.acf.org.au/stop-adani
