Less than 250 km North of Australia, there is a Neglected Genocide taking place in occupied West Papua where over 500,000 people (nearly in 3 West Papuans) have been killed. The current situation in West Papua has been described as very similar to East Timor, with the Indonesian military deliberately forming militia groups and encouraging them to wreak havoc. They are trying to stir up more violence and chaos to justify their military presence.

In the last week, at least 5 West Papuan people have been killed and many others have been attacked.

In the face of this brutality, there is a call from the West Papuans for international support to bring the ongoing brutality to the attention of the world.
