Former Gold Coast Suns football star Joel Wilkinson has courageously stood up against racism and sexual harassment he says has faced in the AFL. This has been an ongoing problem within the League and needs to be resolved. A big part of the problem has been denial. Joel’s action provides a window into a problem that exists in workplaces across Australia. It may even encourage others to speak out.
