Unions are mostly known for their involvement in in matters concerning wages and wqorking conditions. While these are their bread and butter, unions and their members are often concerned with matters out there in the wider community. Here is an example where young members of the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA), are active in helping homeless people sleeping out in the streets. They are supporting Night Angles, to provide clothes, backpacks and other items to help make a rough life a little more comfortable.
