Washington supported ultra-right elements unleash a wave of violence, as part of an orchestrated campaign against the election of Nicolas Maduro. They have targeted hospitals, schools, railway stations, and forced drivers out of cars to torch them. The they targeted, political rivals, their homes, and families. This is to back their claim that the 28 July presidential election was rigged.

But this was an election conducted before more than 900 foreign observers. It operated on a double count system. Voters cast an electronic vote by pushing a button representing their choice. Thren there was a paper copy printout, which the voter put into a ballot box. Every step was witnessed by representatives of all 10 candidates.

Yesterday in Australian time, marches from various parts of Caracas came together into an 8-kilometre-long march end near the Presidential palace. This and previous marches dwarfed that those of the opposition.
