Video: A dose of honesty in the European Parliament

A recent speech at the European Parliament exposing double standards when it comes to human rights. There is silence on the attempt to extradite Julian Assange to the United States to be brought before a kangaroo trial. This and other abuses are ignored, while support is given to a fascist openly advocating race hate. He just happens to be Russian. This is not about human rights. It is about geopolitical ambitions.

Last Friday (26 February) Julian’s father John Shipton began a trip through Victorian and NSW regional centres with a group of friends. A series of public meetings are being held. They will end up in Canberra to meet Australia’s federal politicians.

John Shipton talks before the group leaves Melbourne. This can be followed on Home Run 4 Julian tour.

The support for Julian Assange is a rising tide worldwide.

Notice how far we have come in the past three years. Julian is still a prisoner, but the voices raised in his defence are now legion and global.
