Fundraiser for McCormick workers fighting for their wages and conditions

McCormick food workers in Clayton South have beenon the picket line, without pay since the 4th of March. This is because of an attempt by the company to impose an ongoing wage freeze, the cutting of overtime penalty rates, and other inferior working conditions, for a mere 3 percent immediate Wage rise.

McCormick is the worlds biggest producer of spices and herbs, and supplies the likes of McDonald’s, Hunger Jacks, KFC, and Nando’s.

These workers are asking for:

  • A fair wage that doesn’t leave workers hundreds of dollars worse off every week.
  • No cuts to penalty rates or working conditions.

This is not a lot ask for. But they are doing it tough and need some help.
