UGL workers at Esso Gippsland have been on the picket line for over 100 days, waging a battle top protect their wages and working conditions. UGL is a contractor, engaged by Exxon/Mobil owned Esso to work at the Longford plant and oil rigs in Bass Straight. Members of the Australian Workers Union, Electrical Trades Union and the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union are involved.
