Strathbogie is A town in East Victoria, where the locals got sick of paying too much for their power bills decided to do something about it. By resorting to bulk buying of alternative energy sources, they have cut down the bills and reduced their carbon footprint.

  1. That’s excellent. But at the same time the government’s logging agency VicForests is busy destroying the local forests – one area was recently identified as supporting the highest population of the threatened Greater Gliders in the country!
    Destroying mature original native forests is one of the major causes of Australia’s CO2 emissions.
